When reading the ad for this book I got the impression this book might be some sort of joint effort between Ted Leeson and John Gierach...not so, Gierach only wrote the forward.

In that forward John Gierach reluctantly me|From Publishers Weekly|Of all sports, fishing has the richest literature and, in number of titles, seemingly the most of any hobby save chess. This volume outshines all recent entries. As an English professor at Oregon State University, Leeson is amply qualified
